Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 22, 2026

This policy explains how Collective Epic LLC handles information in connection with Epic Fill, a review-first browser extension that helps a user inspect, prepare, and confirm online application forms on a page the user chooses. It is a public policy for the extension and this information site; it does not describe a generally available production service.

Scope and page access

Application forms can appear on any HTTPS site and can create closed shadow roots before you invoke an extension. Epic Fill therefore includes three packaged scripts that run at page start or idle to preserve shadow-root access, establish a dormant local submission-safety channel, and detect whether a form is present. Before you authorize a workflow, these scripts do not transmit page or field values and the submission guard is inactive. Detailed scanning, profile mapping, filling, API synchronization, guidance, and optional screenshots begin only after you invoke the relevant feature. Epic Fill never submits automatically; it releases only the exact reviewed submission after you explicitly confirm.

Information Epic Fill may handle

Depending on the page and features you choose to use, Epic Fill may handle:

Epic Fill does not use Chrome's general browsing-history API and does not log generalized clicks, scrolling, mouse position, or keystrokes across unrelated browsing. When the local submission guard is armed for a user-authorized workflow, it may briefly inspect form values to preserve the reviewed submission. Protected values are excluded from ordinary cloud snapshots and telemetry. The browser or device speech-recognition provider may process audio. Transcripts dictated into password and other never-store fields are not sent to the Epic Fill API or AI processors.

Collection and use

Epic Fill uses information only to provide the form-assistance features you request, maintain user-authorized profile and session state, protect the review-first submission flow, secure and measure the reliability of the service, and respond to support or legal requests. Collective Epic LLC does not sell personal data, use it for personalized advertising, or use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be sent over encrypted connections to the Epic Fill API and to service providers acting for Collective Epic LLC when necessary for hosting, storage, security, email, product analytics, speech recognition, or user-invoked AI assistance. Voice may use the browser or device speech-recognition provider. The selected website controls its own page and may receive or process values when Epic Fill writes user-requested information into that page or when you explicitly confirm release of the reviewed submission. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service from abuse, or when you ask us to handle a support matter. We do not sell user data or transfer it to advertising platforms or data brokers.

Optional visible-tab screenshots

A visible-tab screenshot is optional. Epic Fill requests specific in-product consent before collecting one. If you do not give that consent, that optional screenshot is not collected through the feature.

Local storage

Epic Fill may store information locally in the browser to support the extension features you use. Local storage may include sign-in and session state, settings, a limited profile cache, user-authorized site mappings, task-related working state, and locally encrypted portal credentials you explicitly save. You can remove extension data through your browser's extension controls, subject to the browser's own behavior.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information handled by Epic Fill. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed secure, so please use care when deciding what information to provide.

Retention and deletion requests

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the requested feature, secure the service, resolve support requests, or meet legal obligations. To ask about data held by Collective Epic LLC or request deletion, email admin@collectiveepic.com with enough information to identify the request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Epic Fill’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
